Hey there! Thanks a ton for dropping by!

I’m Shlomi Ron, the brain and soul behind the Visual Storytelling Institute (VSI), a think tank based right here in sunny Miami. Picture this: a world where art meets marketing in the most purposeful ways. That’s the dream I’ve been living for over two decades, juggling roles in digital marketing for some pretty big names like Nokia, IBM, and American Express. But why stop there? My love affair with classic Italian cinema and my experience managing the estate of video art pioneer Buky Schwartz nudged me to start VSI. It’s my playground for meshing marketing smarts with my passion for telling visual tales that really stick. Here at VSI, we’re all about helping brands cut through the clutter and misinformation with visual storytelling consulting, training sessions that stick, and leading the charge in thought leadership. We’ve teamed up with some cool folks like Estée Lauder, Microsoft, and Cable & Wireless, just to name-drop a bit. And because sharing is caring, For over 4 years, I’ve also been teaching Brand Storytelling over at the University of Miami’s Business School. You might have stumbled upon my voice on the Visual Storytelling Today podcast, nestled comfortably among the top 10 business storytelling podcasts out there. I’ve been penning down the Visual Storytelling Newsletter for six years and diving deep into emerging tech like ethical AI to spin stories that matter. My book, “Total Acuity: Tales with Marketing Morals to Help You Create Richer Visual Brand Stories,” is my little contribution to the world of storytelling. When I’m not mentoring startups to nail their narrative, or giving public talks you can find me baking bread, tuning into The Moth, or tipping my fedora—a nod to my passion for classic films.

So, what’s your story? Let’s make it visually unforgettable together.
